Iraqi, Malaysian Interior Ministers Hail Milipol Qatar 2024 Exhibition and Conference


HE Minister of Interior of the sisterly Republic of Iraq Lt Gen. Abdul Amir Kamel Al Shammari and HE Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail have hailed the global participation and advanced level of the 15th Edition of Milipol Qatar 2024 Exhibition and Conference which will run until Oct. 31, 2024.

Speaking on the margins of the exhibition, HE the Iraqi Minister of Interior stated that the participation of international firms specializing in security underscores the interest of the State of Qatar and the Qatari Ministry of Interior in cutting-edge technologies for security development. He added that he observed firms focused on artificial intelligence (AI) for detecting drugs and other crimes, as well as other cutting-edge security technologies.

His Excellency thanked the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar for the warm reception and hospitality and offering the chance for him to participate in this significant security exhibition.

For his part, HE the Minister of Home Af
fairs of Malaysia noted the extraordinary evolution this edition has witnessed, affirming that he led a high-level delegation due to the significance of Milipol Qatar Exhibition in the region.

His Excellency underscored the importance of this mammoth exhibition, which brings together the most prominent international firms operating in the field of homeland security. He added that he visited a substantial number of participating pavilions, some of which spotlight cutting-edge applications of AI.

HE Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail affirmed that he was impressed by the pavilions, which elevate the standards in various security fields. He noted their incredible capabilities to enhance productivity, reduce costs, accelerate processes, and minimize human errors by collecting and analyzing data to achieve the best results utilizing AI tools
