Iraqi PM, Lebanese Counterpart Discuss Bilateral Relations

Baghdad: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations with his Lebanese counterpart Nawaf Salam in a phone call on Wednesday evening. The two leaders also addressed the latest developments in the region during the conversation.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Sudani affirmed Iraq's ongoing support for Lebanon, particularly in providing fuel to bolster its capabilities in facing challenges. For his part, Salam reiterated his government's commitment to developing relations with Iraq across various levels and fields, and to working together to ensure security and stability in the region.
