Rabat: The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has announced the release of its fifth series of specialized studies focusing on teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers. This initiative is part of a broader project aimed at advancing scientific research and refining educational practices in this field.
According to Qatar News Agency, the newly issued series comprises 10 peer-reviewed scientific books. These publications have been prepared by experts and researchers from 10 different countries. The goal is to enrich the Arabic library with solid academic contributions and to bolster research related to the teaching and learning of Arabic. This effort aligns with the rapid changes occurring within the education sector, especially at the cognitive and technical levels.
The series covers a wide range of topics, highlighting the diversity of research areas in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. Subjects include the role of human intelligence in language teaching, remote Arabic teaching practices in Indonesia, and the study of common words between Arabic and Uzbek. These insights aim to facilitate the creation of a double dictionary and improve the teaching experience for non-native speakers.
