Daraa: Syrian security sources confirmed that the outskirts of the villages of Jamla and Saisoun in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa countryside were subjected to artillery shelling by Israeli forces originating from the occupied Syrian Golan.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sources said that five shells were fired in the attack without any injuries or damage being recorded. The bombing coincided with Israeli warplanes flying over the governorates of Daraa and Quneitra, hours after an Israeli force advanced towards the Wadi Al Raqad bridge in the Yarmouk Basin area.
Israeli incursions and attacks in the region continue in repeated violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, amid Syrian demands for the international community to take action to stop these violations.
