Israeli Aggression on Tulkarm City, Camp Enters First Month Amid Escalation, Stifling Siege

Tulkarm: The Israeli aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp has entered its first month, continuing its unprecedented military escalation and stifling siege, during which the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) murdered 12 Palestinians and injured and arrested dozens of others, in addition to the widespread destruction of infrastructure and property.

According to Qatar News Agency, the IOF reinforced their military presence in the city and the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps and deployed infantry soldiers in the streets and neighborhoods, continuing raids and vandalism inside homes, including seizing empty homes and turning them into military barracks, Palestinian news agency (Wafa) reported.

The tight siege on the camps continues, as the IOF prevent residents from entering or leaving and hinder the work of relief teams trying to deliver basic supplies such as food, water, medicine, and baby milk amid daily appeals to secure the needs of the besieged residents.

The IOF also intensified their military presence along the Nablus Road linking the two camps, where they deployed heavy machinery and bulldozers, and seized residential buildings, while vehicles and their passengers were subjected to intensive searches and interrogations, often accompanied by acts of abuse.
