Israeli Aircraft Launch Series of Raids on Southern Lebanon

Nabatieh: Israeli occupation warplanes launched on Thursday a large-scale aerial assault on the Nabatieh region in southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli aircraft carried out a series of intense airstrikes in two waves, targeting valleys, highlands, and wooded areas stretching between the towns of Kfar Tebnit, Upper Nabatieh, and Kafr Rumman.

No casualties have been reported so far. Authorities noted that most of the strikes were concentrated on the Ali Al Taher woodlands and a former archaeological site. The airstrikes triggered massive explosions, the echoes of which were heard across much of Nabatieh and the surrounding southern region.

In response, most government offices were closed, and the strikes caused widespread panic among residents. Many rushed to schools to evacuate their children, resulting in severe traffic congestion, while dozens of ambulances were seen heading toward the affected areas.

Despite a ceasefire agreement reached months ago between Lebanon and the Israeli entity following weeks of aggression, occupation forces have continued to target border towns and villages, resulting in dozens of civilian deaths and injuries.
