Gaza: Eight Palestinians were killed and others injured on Tuesday in airstrikes and artillery shelling by the Israeli occupation forces on homes and tents of displaced persons in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that three people were killed, and several others were injured due to the occupation forces' bombing of the Bir Al Naja area, west of Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip. In a separate incident, a citizen and his son lost their lives in the bombing of a tent sheltering displaced people on Abu Khater Street in the Tal Al Zaatar neighborhood, northeast of Jabalia camp.

Al Awda Hospital in Tal Al Zaatar, north of the Gaza Strip, confirmed the death of a woman and the injury of five others when Israeli warplanes bombed a tent housing displaced persons in the Abu Qamar area of Jabalia camp.

Further south in the Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike on Salah Al Din Street, northeast of Rafah. Additionally, one person was killed and others were injured in another drone strike on the Al Zana area in Bani Suhaila town, east of Khan Yunis.

In Gaza City, a Palestinian was injured in an Israeli bombardment of the Al Abrar area, east of the Al Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.

Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, had risen to 51,266 martyrs and 116,991 wounded. Medical sources stated that since the occupation resumed its aggression on March 18, the number of martyrs and wounded has reached 1,890 and 4,950 respectively, with 26 martyrs and 60 wounded arriving at Gaza hospitals in the past 24 hours.

The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18, following a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on January 19. However, the occupation violated the ceasefire terms, continuing its bombing of various areas, causing deaths and injuries while refusing to implement the humanitarian protocol. This has tightened the siege on the Strip, leading to an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
