Israeli Artillery Strikes Target Quneitra in Southern Syria

Doha: The Israeli occupation targeted Thursday the vicinity of the village of Al Samdaniyah Al Gharbiyah in the northern countryside of Quneitra, southern Syria, with three artillery shells. Local sources said that the shells fell in the agricultural lands surrounding the village, leaving no injuries.

According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli occupation force entered the northern countryside of Quneitra on Tuesday, set up a temporary checkpoint, stopped and searched passersby, before withdrawing. The Israeli entity continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through its repeated incursions into southern Syria, raiding civilian homes and arresting civilians, bulldozing land, and carrying out attacks with shells and other means.

Syria has called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and compel Israel to withdraw completely from all its occupied territories.
