Israeli Forces Conduct Raid in Western Damascus Countryside

Damascus:An Israeli occupation force, supported by several military vehicles, entered agricultural lands between Beit Jinn farm and the town of Beit Jinn in the western countryside of Damascus, Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Syrian News Agency (SANA) reported that the force entered a former military post in the area, previously held by the old regime, and destroyed it.

On September 18, Israeli forces targeted Bat al-Warda Hill, near Beit Jinn, with several artillery shells. These shells hit the hill, though no casualties were noted.

Israeli occupation forces have been accused of violating the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria. These actions allegedly include raids on civilian homes, arrests, land leveling, artillery attacks, and other forms of assault.

Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, urging the international community to ensure Israel's full withdrawal from southern Syria.
