Israeli Forces Conduct Widespread Arrests in West Bank Targeting Palestinians

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign, arresting 48 Palestinians from several areas in the West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli occupation forces arrested two Palestinians from Qalqilya and another from the town of Asira Al-Shamaliya, after raiding and searching their homes. Furthermore, 33 workers from the village of Umm Tuba, south of Jerusalem, were arrested on the grounds that they lacked permits. This is part of a pattern where hundreds of workers have been apprehended and mistreated by Israeli police in recent months.

In addition to these incidents, 12 Palestinians were arrested in Bethlehem following raids on their homes. These arrests are part of a broader escalation of Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank, where raids, arrests, and shootings have intensified in recent months across various Palestinian cities and towns.
