Israeli Forces Detain 16 Palestinians, Including Children, in West Bank

West bank: The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have reportedly detained 16 Palestinians across various regions within the West Bank on Monday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the arrests included four individuals in Nablus, among them a man and his son. Additionally, four Palestinians were detained in Al-Khalil after allegedly being subjected to severe beatings by the IOF. The operations extended to areas east and north of Tulkarm, where four more individuals were apprehended. The raids involved the search of several homes and stores, leading to the arrest of two freed captives and a child in Ramallah.

In Jenin, the IOF arrested a boy and reportedly assaulted his mother during a raid. These incidents are part of a broader pattern, as cities, towns, and refugee camps across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds) frequently experience IOF raids and incursions. These operations often lead to confrontations, arrests, and the use of live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas canisters against Palestinians.
