Israeli Forces Detain 19 Palestinians in West Bank Operations

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces on Monday arrested over 19 Palestinians and shot another in various areas of the West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) reported that the occupation forces arrested 11 Palestinians from the towns of Beit Ummar and Kafr Qalil, in Nablus, and 5 others from northeast Ramallah, following raids and searches of their homes.

WAFA further indicated that additional arrests occurred in Hebron and involved a number of young men from Qabatiya, south of Jenin, as well as a young man from Al Fara camp, south of Tubas.

In related incidents, the Jerusalem Governorate conveyed that a Palestinian from the town of Beit Surik, north of Jerusalem, was shot by the occupation forces near the apartheid wall in the town of Al Ram. The individual was subsequently transferred to the hospital for treatment.

These developments arise amidst increasing attacks by the occupation forces and settlers on cities, towns, and camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. These include raids and incursions accompanied by confrontations and arrests, as well as the firing of live and rubber bullets and tear gas bombs, and attacks on private property.
