Israeli Forces Launch Artillery Shells in Southern Syria

Damascus: Israeli forces fired an artillery shell on Tuesday toward the valley located west of Abdin in the western Daraa countryside in southern Syria, with no casualties or material damage reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli forces also targeted the vicinity of Al-Samadaniyah Al-Gharbiyah village in the northern Quneitra countryside with three artillery shells last Thursday. These actions did not result in any reported casualties.

The villages in southern Syria, especially those near the lines of contact with the occupied Syrian Golan, frequently experience offensives by Israeli forces. These repeated incidents are impacting the lives of residents, agricultural activity, and the overall stability in the region.

Syria continues to call for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, stating that all actions taken by the occupation are null and void under international law. The Syrian government urges the international community to fulfill its responsibility and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria.
