Israeli Occupation Continues Aggression on Jenin and Its Camp for 62nd Day


Jenin: The Israeli occupation continued its aggression on Jenin and its camp for the 62nd consecutive day.



According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian from the village of Bir Al-Basha, south of Jenin, at dawn today, after raiding his home and ransacking it. The occupation forces are reportedly sending military reinforcements, accompanied by bulldozers, into the Jenin camp.



Bulldozing operations are underway to widen streets and pave new roads. Live ammunition is being fired in the vicinity of the Jenin camp, and infantry units are moving inside and around the camp.



The number of displaced persons from the camp has reached 21,000, with individuals distributed between Jenin and surrounding villages in the governorate. The Jenin Municipality reports that Israeli occupation forces have bulldozed 100% of the streets in Jenin camp and approximately 80% of the streets in Jenin city. The residents of 3,200 homes in the camp have been displaced.



The ongoing Israeli aggression on the city and camp of Jenin has resulted in 34 martyrs, with dozens injured and detained.
