Israeli Occupation Continues Closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque for 38th Consecutive Day

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation authorities continued closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque for the 38th consecutive day, preventing worshipers from accessing the site amid heightened security measures and a tight siege imposed on Jerusalem's Old City and the mosque's entrances. Israeli occupation forces turned the Old City and its surroundings into a military zone, erecting metal barriers and barring Palestinians from entering except for residents, while allowing settlers free movement, as a clear policy of discrimination and an imposed imbalance in the city.

According to Qatar News Agency, the prolonged closure sparked a wave of widespread Palestinian anger, with growing calls to head toward the closest accessible points and perform prayers there in defiance of the Israeli restrictions.
