Israeli Occupation Forces Arrest More Than 35 Palestinians in Ongoing Raids North of Jerusalem

Jerusalem: Israeli occupation forces arrested more than 35 Palestinians during an ongoing raid since dawn on Qalandia refugee camp, and the towns of Al-Ram and Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem, while also storming and vandalizing several homes and properties.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Jerusalem Governorate stated that the raid, which continued for more than 15 hours, has resulted in several injuries, including some from live ammunition. There were also dozens of cases of suffocation amid heavy firing of live bullets and tear gas canisters inside residential neighborhoods.

The governorate condemned the escalation and the accompanying violations against Palestinians, warning of its serious repercussions. It called on the international community to urgently intervene to halt these attacks.

Cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witness near-daily raids and incursions by Israeli occupation forces and settlers. These operations are often accompanied by clashes and arrests, as well as the use of live and rubber bullets and tear gas against Palestinians.
