Doha: Israeli occupation soldiers detained a Palestinian in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, while settlers took over a Palestinian home after the family was evicted from the village of Jalud, south of Nablus, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said.
According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli forces continued to deploy in several neighborhoods across the town. In the Nablus Governorate, settlers seized the home of Mahmoud Al Tobasi's family in the town of Jalud. This followed more than three months of siege, during which the family was forced to leave.
Bashar Al Qaryouti, a local anti-settlement activist from southern Nablus, reported that settlers established a settlement outpost near the house and assaulted family members. They cut off water and electricity to the house, blocking the delivery of food and medicine to the home, which ultimately led to the family's eviction.
In Jenin Governorate, Israeli occupation forces raided Deir Abu Da'if village, east of the city, forcing shop owners to close their businesses and disrupting commercial activity across the area.
