Nablus: The Israeli occupation forces arrested several Palestinians on Sunday from the cities of Nablus and Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank.
According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces raided several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus and stormed multiple homes, arresting eight Palestinians. Additionally, two Palestinians were arrested while they were in the town of Beit Hanina in Jerusalem, though their identities have not yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Issawiya, north of Jerusalem. They stopped vehicles and checked the identities of their passengers, causing disruptions to movement and a severe traffic jam in the area.
In recent weeks, the Israeli occupation forces have intensified their raids and incursions into Palestinian villages and towns in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. They have also increased the frequency of arrests targeting activists and young Palestinians.
