Israeli Strikes in Gaza Leave One Dead, Multiple Injured

Gaza:A Palestinian died from injuries sustained during an Israeli drone strike in northern Gaza, and multiple others, including children and women, were injured by Israeli gunfire and airstrikes throughout the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deceased Palestinian suffered wounds in the attack, while another was injured by Israeli gunfire near the Abu Hamid roundabout, east of Khan Younis. Another incident on Monday resulted in a Palestinian death from a drone strike targeting civilians in the Al-Mawasi area, northwest of Rafah.

Three children, including two siblings, were injured by gunfire from Israeli forces in central Khan Younis. Additionally, two women were injured by gunfire in the Bir 19 area of Al-Mawasi, west of the city.

Israeli aircraft conducted multiple airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, hitting a residential building twice in the Al-Rimal neighborhood and demolishing another near the Shuja'iyya junction. A house in the Al-Tawam area was also bombed.

Further Israeli actions included the destruction of homes in the eastern regions of Gaza City, particularly east of Shuja'iyya and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods, and an airstrike targeting farmland south of Deir Al-Balah.

Despite a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel that began in October 2025, Israeli forces continue to carry out airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire across different areas of the Gaza Strip.
