Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office Issues Arrest Warrants for 37 Individuals Accused of Genocide, Including Israeli Prime Minister


Istanbul: The Istanbul Public Prosecutor’s Office issued arrest warrants today for 37 individuals accused of “genocide” in Gaza, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The legal action was initiated in response to alleged activities that have drawn international attention.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Istanbul Public Prosecutor’s Office stated in a press release that, at the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Criminal Court of Peace issued the arrest warrants. The charges against the individuals include “crimes against humanity” and “genocide” in Gaza, as well as targeting the “Global Freedom Flotilla” which was attempting to break the Gaza blockade.



The statement emphasized that the warrants were specifically issued for the suspects’ involvement in actions in Gaza, highlighting the severity of the accusations and the international implications of the legal proceedings. The involvement of a sitting Prime Minister in such charges underscores the gravity of the situation as viewed by the Istanbul judicial authorities.
