The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB), has announced the launch of the second phase of its 5-year partnership program with the Sustainable Coffee Platform of Indonesia (SCOPI). This initiative aims to bolster the Indonesian coffee industry through sustainable farming practices. The program, aligned with ITFC's mission to empower trade and improve lives, will provide essential funding to IsDB member countries. This funding will facilitate training sessions focused on developing monitoring and evaluation tools, along with business proposals, representing a significant step forward for Indonesia's coffee export development program. The partnership program serves as a central pillar in empowering coffee farmers to expand their reach to a broader network of farmers who utilize sustainable coffee cultivation methods. This approach reinforces efforts toward implementing sustainable coffee farming practices. The partnership aims to enhance training and guidance for coffee farmers through programs and activities supported by ITFC in IsDB member countries. The goal is to equip beneficiaries with scientific and professional skills while raising their cultural and economic levels, ultimately leading to a substantial increase in sustainable coffee production.
