Jordanian King and Pakistani Prime Minister Address Iranian Aggression in Region

Doha: King Abdullah II of Jordan discussed the latest regional developments in a telephone call today with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif: The Jordanian monarch stressed the need to halt Iranian aggression against Jordan and other countries in the region, and to resort to diplomacy to resolve the conflict and reach a comprehensive de-escalation that restores stability to the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah II also expressed his condolences to the Pakistani Prime Minister for the Pakistani casualties resulting from the Iranian attacks on Arab countries. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of not exploiting the conflict as a pretext to impose a new reality in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.
