Katara Festival For Arabic Novel Continues with Literary Highlights

Doha: The 11th Katara Festival for Arabic Novel entered its second day with strong public engagement and participation from prominent Gulf and Arab novelists and critics. The event features seminars, workshops, and a popular live drawing event inspired by contemporary Saudi novels.

According to Qatar News Agency, key highlights included the unveiling of the novel unites us project, promoting collaborative storytelling between Qatari and Arab authors. In addition, a seminar honored the late Saudi writer Ghazi Al-Gosaibi, exploring his literary legacy through critical papers by Saudi academics.

Upcoming festival events include new book launches by emerging Qatari authors and specialists, and the grand finale will see the awarding of the Katara Prize of Arabic Novel to 14 winners across six categories.
