London: HM King Charles III of the United Kingdom received the credentials of HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Thani as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the United Kingdom. The ceremony marks a significant step in the diplomatic relations between the two nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Ambassador conveyed heartfelt greetings from HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HM the King. The Amir extended his wishes for King Charles III’s continued health and happiness, alongside aspirations for the ongoing progress and prosperity of the United Kingdom’s government and people.
In response, HM King Charles III expressed his appreciation and asked HE the Ambassador to relay his greetings back to HH the Amir. He conveyed his best wishes for the Amir’s health and happiness and extended his hopes for further progress and prosperity in the State of Qatar.
