KSrelief Launches Food Distribution Project in Hadramout, Yemen

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched on Wednesday a project to distribute food aid to displaced and affected people in the city of Mukalla in Hadramout governorate, Yemen, for the year 2023. The project will distribute 3,668 food baskets, benefiting 25,676 individuals from the neediest groups in the governorate districts of Hajar, Thamud, Ramah and Al-Abr.

The Assistant Undersecretary of Governor of Hadramout for Desert Affairs, Mohammed bin Jarbou Al-Saiari, praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief in helping thousands of displaced and affected families, stressing the importance of these projects, which will contribute to alleviating the suffering of the needy in Yemen.

This project aims to distribute 179,982 food baskets periodically every two months in the governorates of Marib, Hadramout, Al-Mahra, Shabwa, Al-Jawf, Hodeidah, Socotra, Hajjah and Saada, benefiting 36,237 families comprising of 253,659 individuals.
