The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen dismantled a total of 1,047 mines during the fifth week of August 2024. This includes four anti-personnel mines, 54 anti-tank mines, 973 unexploded ordnance, and 16 explosive devices. Represented by KSrelief, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia seeks through this project to clear Yemeni lands of mines that were indiscriminately planted by the Houthi militia, which have caused death and injury to innocent children, women, and the elderly.
