Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index gaining 1.05 points to reach 8,040.43 points, marking an increase of 0.01 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 321.2 million shares valued at KWD 84.2 million (roughly USD 258.4 million) were traded across 17,615 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decline, losing 14.15 points to settle at 6,979.25 points, representing a decrease of 0.20 percent. This movement involved 177.4 million shares traded through 8,622 transactions, with a total value of KWD 26.7 million (approximately USD 81.9 million).
The Premier Market Index, however, saw an increase, gaining 4.88 points to reach 8,702.47 points, up by 0.06 percent. This segment involved 143.7 million shares traded in 8,993 transactions, valued at KWD 57.5 million (around USD 176.5 million).
In contrast, the bourse’s Main 50 Index decreased by 24.32 points to close at 7,254.37 points, down by 0.33 percent. This decline was accompanied by a stock volume of 114.3 million shares, executed through 5,431 deals at a value of KWD 19.13 million (roughly USD 59.2 million).
