Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher with All Share Index Gaining 4.67 Points


Doha: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index gained 4.67 points to reach 7,805.44 points, an increase of 0.06 percent. As many as 203.3 million shares valued at KWD 58.10 million (roughly USD 177.7 million) were traded via 15,261 transactions.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went up by 19.70 points to reach 7,137.32 points, an increase of 0.28 percent. This rise was achieved through 79.3 million shares transacted via 5,431 transactions valued at KWD 11.6 million (roughly USD 35.4 million).



The Premier Market Index gained 1.14 points to reach 8,357.71, up by 0.01 percent. This was facilitated through 123.9 million shares conducted via 9,830 transactions, with a value of KWD 46.4 million (roughly USD 141.9 million).



Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index increased by 61.38 points to reach 6,904.97 points, an increase of 0.90 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 65.6 million shares conducted in 4,196 deals at a value of KWD 9.7 million (roughly USD 29.6 million).
