Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index gained 3.99 points to reach 8,877.25 points, marking an increase of 0.04 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 281.2 million shares valued at KWD 75.3 million were traded via 20,369 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a decline by 20.09 points to settle at 8,976.87 points, reflecting a decrease of 0.22 percent. This was achieved through 169.7 million shares traded via 10,775 transactions, valued at KWD 29.7 million.
The Premier Market Index, however, experienced an increase, gaining 9.33 points to reach 9,316.81 points, an upsurge of 0.10 percent. This was facilitated by 111.5 million shares traded through 9,594 transactions, with a total value of KWD 34.4 million.
Conversely, the Bourse Main 50 Index recorded a loss of 25.23 points, dropping to 10,369.10 points, down by 0.24 percent. This was through a stock volume of 118 million shares executed in 6,918 deals at a value of KWD 21.3 million.
