Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index gaining 25.45 points to reach 8,847.48 points, marking an increase of 0.29 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw 345.6 million shares valued at KWD 92.3 million (approximately USD 281.5 million) exchanged through 19,897 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a rise of 85.17 points, reaching 8,237.85 points, reflecting an increase of 1.04 percent. This was achieved through 156.13 million shares traded in 9,652 transactions, valued at KWD 26.2 million (around USD 79.9 million).
The Premier Market Index also showed an upward trend, gaining 12.16 points to reach 9,436.25 points, an increase of 0.13 percent. This was on the back of 189.5 million shares exchanged through 10,245 transactions, valued at KWD 66.17 million (approximately USD 201.8 million).
Additionally, the Main 50 Index saw an increase of 105.20 points, reaching 8,759.41 points, up by 1.22 percent. The index was supported by a stock volume of 82.7 million shares conducted in 5,504 deals, valued at KWD 16.8 million (roughly USD 51.2 million).
