Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Sunday as the All Share Index gained 8.91 points to reach 8,027.94 points, an increase of 0.11 percent. As many as 866 million shares valued at KWD 221.3 million (roughly USD 681.6 million) were traded via 2,166 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went up by 48.68 points to reach 7,452.95 points, an increase of 0.66 percent, through 465.9 million shares done via 13,644 transactions valued at KWD 155.5 million (roughly USD 478.9 million).
The Premier Market Index experienced a slight decline, going down by 0.69 points to reach 8,567.87, a decrease of 0.01 percent. This occurred through 202.1 million shares done via 7,522 transactions valued at KWD 65.7 million (roughly USD 202.3 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index gained 55.27 points to reach 7,547.44 points, an increase of 0.74 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 391.5 million shares done in 9,361 deals at a value of KWD 145.8 million (roughly USD 499 million).
