Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index lost 10.34 points to reach 7,949.20 points, a decrease of 0.13 percent. As many as 317.5 million shares valued at KWD 82.6 million (roughly USD 252.7 million) were traded via 17,756 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went down by 87.35 points to reach 7,067.60 points, a decrease of 1.22 percent. This was through 212.2 million shares processed via 10,406 transactions with a total value of KWD 38.9 million (roughly USD 119 million).
The Premier Market Index, in contrast, saw a gain of 8.38 points to reach 8,561.90, marking an increase of 0.10 percent. This was achieved through 105.3 million shares conducted via 7,350 transactions valued at KWD 43.7 million (roughly USD 133.7 million).
Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index experienced a decrease of 8.50 points to reach 7,101.96 points, down by 0.12 percent. This was through a stock volume of 185.14 million shares executed in 8,455 deals at a value of KWD 33.8 million (roughly USD 103.4 million).
