Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index lost 49.57 points to reach 8,978.54 points, a decrease of 0.55 percent. As many as 1.056 million shares valued at KWD 153.4 million (roughly USD 469.4 million) were traded via 40,011 transactions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went down by 100.39 points to reach 8,582.07 points, a decrease of 1.16 percent, through 840 million shares done via 28,159 transactions valued at KWD 81.7 million (roughly USD 250 million).
The Premier Market Index lost 39.33 points to reach 9,521.09, down by 0.41 percent, through 225.4 million shares done via 11,852 transactions valued at KWD 71.7 million (roughly USD 219.4 million).
Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index lost 139.25 points to reach 8,751.46 points, a decrease of 1.57 percent, through stock volume of 258 million shares done in 12,486 deals at a value of KWD 47.7 million (roughly USD 145.6 million).
