Doha: Boursa Kuwait concluded Monday’s trading with the All Share Index advancing by 32.29 points, or 0.40%, closing at 8,173.21 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 438.10 million shares changed hands across 20,670 transactions, amounting to a value of KWD 147 million (approximately $452.7 million). The Main Market Index rose by 29.35 points, or 0.40%, reaching 7,413.17 points, facilitated by the exchange of 286.2 million shares in 10,436 transactions valued at KWD 92 million (about $283.3 million).
The Premier Market Index also saw an increase, climbing by 34.63 points to 8,767.04, representing a 0.40% rise. This was achieved through the trade of 151.8 million shares conducted via 10,234 transactions, with a total value of KWD 55 million (around $169.4 million).
Simultaneously, the Main 50 Index gained 27.82 points to settle at 7,474.72 points, marking a 0.37% increase. This index saw a stock volume of 256 million shares completed in 8,241 deals, totaling a value of KWD 87.8 million (approximately $270.4 million).
