Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday as the All Share Index lost 0.27 points to reach 8,791.59 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 1.142 million shares valued at KWD 177.8 million (roughly USD 540.5 million) were traded via 48,144 transactions. The Main Market Index saw a decrease of 1.58 points, landing at 8,416.93 points, marking a 0.02 percent decline. This was achieved through 939.8 million shares executed in 37,766 transactions, with a total value of KWD 120.19 million (approximately USD 365.3 million).
The Premier Market Index showed a slight gain of 0.05 points, reaching 9,319.44 points. This was accomplished through 203.05 million shares across 10,378 transactions, valued at KWD 57.6 million (around USD 175.4 million). In contrast, the Main 50 Index increased by 29.34 points, reaching 8,816.07 points, up by 0.33 percent. This was the result of a stock volume of 707.9 million shares conducted in 25,241 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 91.9 million (roughly USD 279.3 million).
