Kuwait Bourse Records Decline as All Share Index Drops

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index lost 23.28 points to reach 8,871.91 points, a decrease of 0.26 percent. As many as 544.2 million shares valued at KWD 110.9 million (roughly USD 339.3 million) were traded via 28,985 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index experienced an increase of 29.92 points, reaching 8,312.09 points, reflecting a rise of 0.36 percent. This was achieved through 382.5 million shares executed via 18,006 transactions, with a total value of KWD 49.8 million (approximately USD 152.3 million).

Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index saw a decline, losing 35.80 points to settle at 9,451.39 points, a decrease of 0.38 percent. This movement involved 161.6 million shares conducted via 10,979 transactions, amounting to a value of KWD 61 million (around USD 186.6 million).

Additionally, the Main 50 Index fell by 43.38 points to reach 9,140.55 points, marking a decrease of 0.47 percent. This decline occurred through a stock volume of 355.4 million shares executed in 15,555 deals, with a total value of KWD 45.7 million (approximately USD 139.8 million).
