Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with notable gains as the All Share Index increased by 79.67 points, reaching 8,797.39 points, marking an increase of 0.91 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw 219.9 million shares exchanged, valued at KWD 79.3 million (approximately USD 241.8 million), across 18,441 transactions. The Main Market Index rose by 75.99 points to 8,185.66 points, showing an increase of 0.94 percent. This was achieved through 81.5 million shares traded via 7,738 transactions, valued at KWD 14.9 million (around USD 45.4 million).
The Premier Market Index also witnessed an increase, gaining 84.53 points to reach 9,384.18 points, reflecting a 0.91 percent rise. This was facilitated by 138.3 million shares traded in 10,703 transactions, with a total value of KWD 64.4 million (roughly USD 196.4 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index climbed by 102.30 points to 8,691.85 points, up by 1.19 percent. The index's performance involved a stock volume of 53.9 million shares across 5,212 deals, valued at KWD 9.7 million (approximately USD 29.5 million).
