Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with the All Share Index losing 23.32 points, settling at 7,850.45 points, marking a decline of 0.30 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the day’s trading involved 452.3 million shares valued at KWD 112.8 million, approximately USD 345.16 million, across 27,090 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decrease of 5.87 points, closing at 7,225.21 points, which is a 0.08 percent drop. This was achieved through the trading of 312.8 million shares over 15,507 transactions, valued at KWD 46.4 million, or roughly USD 141.9 million.
The Premier Market Index saw a reduction of 28.83 points, closing at 8,394.24, reflecting a 0.34 percent fall. This occurred through the exchange of 139.5 million shares across 11,583 transactions with a value of KWD 66.3 million, approximately USD 202.8 million. Conversely, the Main 50 Index registered an increase, climbing by 67.3 points to reach 7,129.21 points, an increase of 0.95 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 256.7 million shares in 11,203 deals valued at KWD 38.6 million, or roughly USD 118.11 million.
