Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday with the All Share Index gaining 3.6 points to reach 8,010.75 points, marking an increase of 0.04 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 375.2 million shares exchanged, with a total value of KWD 94.5 million (approximately USD 289.17 million) carried out through 22,055 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced an increase of 14.55 points, reaching 6,967.83 points, with 222.4 million shares traded in 10,831 transactions valued at KWD 33 million (approximately USD 100.9 million).
The Premier Market Index also saw a slight increase, gaining 1.05 points to reach 8,666.8 points, up by 0.01 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 152.8 million shares across 11,224 transactions, with a total value of KWD 61.5 million (around USD 188.19 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index went up by 28 points, reaching 7,197.26 points, an increase of 0.39 percent. This was based on a stock volume of 200.7 million shares traded in 9,095 deals, valued at KWD 29.7 million (roughly USD 90.8 million).
