Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense announced that the Kuwaiti air defense system successfully confronted and intercepted a number of hostile aerial targets on Sunday morning. This action highlights the readiness of the armed forces to protect the nation's airspaces.
According to Qatar News Agency, Official Spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Col. Saud Atwan, stated that the targets had been tracked and intercepted within the scope of operations in the south of the country. This was part of a full readiness strategy to address any potential threats.
Atwan confirmed that no injuries were recorded as a result of the interception. He emphasized that the Kuwaiti armed forces continue to perform their national duties and manage any field developments to ensure the safeguarding of the nation's security and stability, as well as its territorial integrity.
