Kuwait National Guard Announces Downing of 46 Drones, 6 UAVs Since Beginning of Iran Aggression


Kuwait city: The Kuwait National Guard announced Thursday that its duty force has downed 46 drones and six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) since the beginning of the Iranian aggression against the country.



According to Qatar News Agency, Brigadier General Jadaan Fadhel, the official spokesperson for the Kuwait National Guard, explained in a statement that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Engineering Battalion had dealt with 42 reports of missile remnants and shrapnel in various locations since the beginning of the aggression. This effort has contributed to enhancing public safety and protecting lives and property.



He noted that the Kuwait National Guard possesses advanced equipment for monitoring radiological and chemical conditions. This equipment provides continuous readings, detects any hazards, and offers early warnings to the relevant authorities through a 24/7 hotline.
