Kuwait National Guard Takes Down Drone and Four UAVs in Security Operation


Kuwait city: The Kuwait National Guard (KNG) announced Monday that it successfully intercepted and shot down a drone along with four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) within its jurisdiction. This action is part of a strategic effort to strengthen security measures and safeguard vital installations.



According to Qatar News Agency, KNG spokesperson Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadhel stated that the operation aligns with ongoing initiatives to bolster security, protect critical sites, and address potential threats. The spokesperson emphasized the importance of adhering to security and safety instructions issued by relevant authorities.



Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadhel assured that the KNG, in collaboration with the Army, police forces, and the Kuwait Fire Force, is fully prepared to handle threats and counter any attempts to undermine the country’s security. The KNG remains committed to maintaining Kuwait’s sovereignty, security, and stability, while safeguarding its national interests and resources.
