Kuwait: One Dead in Brutal Iranian Attack on Power and Water Facility


Kuwait: One Indian national has died following an Iranian attack targeting a power station and water distillation facility in Kuwait.



According to Qatar News Agency, the service building at the facility was the focus of the attack, prompting immediate response measures. Fatima Jawhar Hayat, the official spokesperson for Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, confirmed that technical and emergency teams were swiftly deployed to handle the situation. The teams followed approved contingency plans to mitigate the impact of the attack and maintain operational efficiency.



Hayat emphasized the ongoing coordination with security and relevant authorities to secure the affected sites. She appealed to the public to stay calm, avoid spreading rumors, and rely on official sources for accurate information. The ministry assures that updates will be provided transparently, and the safety and stability of the electricity and water systems remain their highest priority.
