Kuwait city: The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed Sunday’s trading session lower, with the general market index dropping 14.87 points, or 0.17%, to close at 8,908.15 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, trading volume reached 524.16 million shares, across 29,425 cash transactions, with a total turnover of KWD 124 million (approximately USD 378.2 million).
The Main Market Index fell 33.13 points, or 0.39%, to end at 8,516.9 points, with 237 million shares traded through 20,182 transactions, worth KWD 62.9 million (around USD 191.8 million).
Meanwhile, the Premier Market Index dropped 11.05 points, or 0.12%, to 9,445.91 points, with 197 million shares changing hands across 9,243 deals, totaling KWD 61.1 million (about USD 186.3 million).
The Main 50 Index also lost 20.34 points, or 0.23%, to close at 8,815.7 points, with 212 million shares traded through 10,799 cash deals, worth KWD 38.13 million (around USD 116.2 million).
