Doha: The State of Kuwait strongly condemned the Iranian aggression targeting its territory and a power generation and water desalination facility.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry emphasized that repeated attacks on vital infrastructure pose threats to civilians and are in violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817. The ministry highlighted that such attacks demonstrate a systematic hostile approach targeting civilian facilities and essential infrastructure. Kuwait holds Iran fully responsible for the aggression and its consequences.
The Foreign Ministry affirmed Kuwait's right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its security and defend its territory and vital facilities against any threats. This stance is in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter.
