Doha: Kuwait and Turkiye signed Tuesday an agreement and several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of transport, energy, and investment. The signing ceremony, attended by HH Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, included the signing of a maritime transport agreement between the governments of both countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, three memoranda of understanding were signed covering mutual recognition of seafarers’ certificates, cooperation in the energy sector, and collaboration in promoting direct investment.
