Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister, Russian Envoy Discuss Situation in Southern Lebanon

Lebanon's Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Friday, discussed with visiting Special Envoy of the Russian Foreign Minister Vladimir Safronkov, the situation in southern Lebanon and Gaza, and the peace path in the Middle East region. On this occasion, the Russian envoy stressed the need for all parties to exercise restraint in preparation for reviving the peace process, noting that his visit to Lebanon falls within the framework of his tour of the region.
