Lebanese, French Military Chiefs Discuss Regional Developments

Beirut: Commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces Rodolphe Haykal held talks on Thursday with Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces Fabien Mandon during the latter's visit to Beirut. The discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the wider region, as well as ways to strengthen support for the Lebanese army.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting between Haykal and Mandon underscores the ongoing cooperation between Lebanon and France in addressing regional security challenges. The two military leaders also explored opportunities for France to further assist in bolstering the capabilities of the Lebanese armed forces.
