Beirut:Lebanese President Joseph Aoun welcomed Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani in Beirut to discuss bilateral relations and regional tensions.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed conveyed greetings from the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, along with wishes for President Aoun's good health and Lebanon's prosperity.
President Aoun asked Sheikh Mohammed to relay his greetings to the Amir, hoping for Qatar's continued success and development.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Qatar and Lebanon, addressing recent developments in Lebanon and the region, and efforts to enhance security and stability. Sheikh Mohammed reiterated Qatar's support for Lebanon's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, emphasizing solidarity with the Lebanese people.
