Liverpool: Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has been named the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Player of the Year for the 2024-2025 season for the third time.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Egyptian international won the accolade after playing a pivotal role in leading his side to their 20th English Premier League title. He finished the season as the league's top scorer with 29 goals and recorded 18 assists, underlining his influence in both scoring and creating chances.
The award saw Salah emerge ahead of a competitive shortlist that included Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Alexander Isak (Newcastle United), Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), and Declan Rice (Arsenal).
